Fire In B.C. Interior Still Raging

The fire raging in B.C. Interior is yet to be controlled by firefighters. The damage has already covered 150 hectares this week and it looks like the fire has no plan of stopping soon. Firefighters have started working on the east side of the fire since it is the closest to a number of properties. Hopefully, they could contain the blaze on that side to avoid further damages.

The fire is so damaging that experts are expected to join the fray today. Additional ground crews have also been dispatched and would soon be helping to fight the fire. Apart from this fire in a 53-hectare brushfire is also raging in nearby Barnhartvale. This would have firefighters in the area are spread out thinly thus the need for experts to come in and help fight the blaze.

With the additional ground crews and firefighting experts, hopefully, the blaze would be 100 percent contained before the start of August.
